Patreon

Butler uses Patreon for paid subscriptions. Patreon handles checkout and membership management, and Alfred uses your connected Patreon account to detect your tier.

Plans

Free	$0	Basic Alfred features with limited usage, and access to the basic models
Power	$4	All Alfred features, access to the mid-tier models and x5 free plan’s usage
Power+	$8	The same as Power, with x2 the usage
Elite	$12	Access to every model Alfred offers, and x3 Power’s usage
Elite+	$20	The same as Elite, x5 Power’s usage

The difference between a plan and its plus version is usage only, not features and not models. If you’re happy with your models and just keep running out, the plus version of your current plan is the cheaper fix than moving up a tier.

Prices and tiers can change, so the Patreon page is the source of truth.

Subscribe

1. Make sure your Patreon account is connected: Connect Patreon
2. Choose a plan from Alfred’s Patreon
3. Checkout

Your tier should update automatically if your Patreon is connected. If it isn’t connected yet, the tier updates once you connect it.

Upgrades and cancelling

Upgrades, downgrades and cancellations all happen through Patreon, not through Alfred. Alfred reads whatever Patreon says your membership is.

If your tier doesn’t update after a change, reconnect Patreon from the Dashboard account menu, or contact support in the Discord server.

Gifts

You can gift Alfred subscriptions to others through Patreon. The recipient may need to connect Patreon to Alfred so Alfred can verify the membership.

Patreon not syncing

If your tier doesn’t show correctly:

1. Confirm the membership is active on Patreon.
2. Confirm you connected the same Patreon account to Alfred.
3. Disconnect and reconnect Patreon from the Dashboard account menu.
4. Refresh the Dashboard.
5. Contact support if it still doesn’t update.

The most common cause by far is having paid on one Patreon account and connected a different one.
